Acclaimed Tamil actor Kamal Haasan has joined the sea of actors and actresses addressing the Corona-virus Pandemic. Hassan has recently posted a video on Twitter and YouTube wherein he talks about the Corona-virus Pandemic.
In the video, Hassan urges everyone to stay home. He begins the video with a sentimental note. He says, " You might be worried about your children's school fees, your businesses, and provisions. But these two weeks are extremely important."
Hassan acknowledges people's frustrations and questions about the disruption of normal life. Hassan states that he knows people are worried about their day-to-day business activities and expenses. He asks people to address these questions two weeks from now. Hassan reminds his audience that their health is a prerequisite for answering this question. He urges them not to forget about their health.
Hassan asks urges people to keep themselves occupied. "Catch up on the books and films that you've been putting aside. Enroll your children in online courses, teach them how to cook. You've got two weeks, use this time to stay home and to stay safe," says Hassan.
On the work front, Hassan's most awaited film Indian 2 will hit theaters sometime in 2021. A sequel to the 1996 film Indian, the film is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah‘s Lyca Productions. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Nedumudi Venu reprising their roles from the first film. Hassan will also be directing the film Thalaivan Irukkiran. Thalaivan Irukkiran is also scheduled for his theatres in 2021.
