Many celebrities have come to help the people suffering amid the COVID-19 crisis. Actress turned Member of Parliament Sumalatha Ambareesh come to help though who relies on daily work wages. She distributed groceries to auto drivers who are now facing economic problems due to the lockdown.
Recently, Sumalatha also distributed sanitizers and masks to migrant laborers. They were stuck near a village near Mandya. Mandya is one of the worst affected regions in Karnataka. Sumalatha has been monitoring the situation as the representation of the constituency.
On the work front, she was last seen in the 2020 film India vs England. The film hit the theatres on 24th January 2020. The film starred actors Vasishta Simha, Manvitha Harish. Sumalatha recently shared a throwback photo to pay her respects to actor Rishi Kapoor. She posted a video on her social media. In the video, Sumalatha and Ambressh are dancing to a tune from a film that Rishi Kapoor starred in.
