Cricketer Suresh Raina Reveals His Choices For His Biopic

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina recently released his memoir, Believe: What Life and Cricket Taught Me. He has been promoting his memoir through Instagram live sessions. During one of the sessions, he was asked who he would cast if a biopic gets made around his life. Suresh Raina gave interesting answers, which has made everyone happy. He said, "I want someone who can take that emotion forward because playing for the country or CSK is not easy. I want someone from the South who can do it. So they can understand how much Chennai and Chennai Super Kings mean to me. I have two-three names in my mind. I'd say Suriya. I am sure he can act. And Dulquer Salmaan is good at acting as well."

Suriya and Suresh Raina share a great rapport and have expressed mutual respect at several public events. Suresh Raina has been playing for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League since 2010. The cricketer is fondly called Chinna Thala by fans. Last year, Suriya sent a personal message to Suresh Raina when his uncle was murdered in Pathankot while sleeping. Suresh Raina wrote, "My deepest condolences dear @ImRaina we all shoulder your grief! Let the heartless criminals be summoned to justice!! My prayers for strength and peace (sic)."
