Suriya is going through a rough phase in his career as he has had back to back flops. His last film was Selvaraghavan’s NGK, which unfortunately failed to entertain the audience. The political thriller had great potential to become one of the best films. However, it failed to create magic.
After NGK, the actor is concentrating on his next film Soorarai Pottru. Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, the film bases on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. As Soorarai Pottru is gearing up for a grand release sometime in 2020, talks about Suriya’s upcoming films are doing the rounds.
In one of the possible collaborations, Suriya might once again team up with director Hari who had given us the memorable Singam franchise. However, reports reveal that their next collaboration would not belong to the Singam franchise and will be a totally different film.
Now, the latest buzz is that composer D Imman might be scoring music for their film. If the plan materializes, then this will be the first time Imman will join hands with Suriya. An official confirmation regarding their project and D Imman’s inclusion will be out in the coming days.
Also, Suriya says to be in talks with director Vetri Maaran for a film. The actor is looking to redefine his career with his latest film choices. Meanwhile, Suriya is also busy producing and backing solid Tamil films. Their next film Sillu Karupatti will release on December 27.
