Dabbang actor Salman Khan distributed Eid kits to 5000 families across Mumbai

Due to the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic, followers of the Islamic faith could not celebrate Eid like previous years. However this hasn't stopped superstar Salman Khan from reaching out to those who are missing out on Eid celebrations. On 25th May Salman Khan donated Eid rations and kits to 5000 families across Mumbai. The ration kit also contained ingredients to prepare the delicious Sheer Korma.

 
Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal took to Twitter to thank Salman Khan for his generous contribution. The state leader wrote, "Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan Bhai for reaching out to 5000 families in your own special way on the occasion of Eid and spreading happiness...Humans like you balance the society, Thank you for the Eid kits distributed to one and all...special way of Bhai wishing Eid !!!" Kanal also shared pictures of many of these kits sent by Salman Khan.
 
Kanal added writing, "This kit comprises of everything needed to make Sheer korma for more than 50 people...just a proud feeling to share that Being Haangryy has reached out to 25,000 families with dry ration and 5000 families with Eid kits given out by Bhai."
 
Salman Khan previously also donated PPE kits to those in need. Khan has also provided money to the cine workers who lost their jobs due to the lockdown. Salman Khan committed to helping more than 25000 such workers.
 
Salman Khan is still staying in his Panvel farmhouse with some of his closest family members and friends. Salman Khan has released two songs in the previous weeks from his home.
