2019 has been a good year for all the Daggubati fans as their favorite hero Daggubati Venkatesh was back with a bang. He scored a blockbuster in the form of F2 and then scored a super-hit with Venky Mama. The Gharshana actor is now hoping to continue the success streak in 2020 as well.
Venkatesh is currently acting in the film Narappa. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the shoot of this film is currently underway in Tamil Nadu. Narappa is an official remake of recent Tamil blockbuster ASuran, starring Dhanush in the lead role. Narappa features Priyamani as the female lead. It is being produced by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu. We hear that the makers are planning to release this film on May 1.
On the other hand, another Daggubati actor Rana is also planning for a summer release. The Baahubali actor's long-delayed multi-lingual film Hathi Mere Saathi (Aranya in Telugu) will apparently hit the screens on April 17. Prabhu Solomon has directed the film and Suresh Babu will be releasing it in Telugu. Thus, there are two big releases from the Daggubati family this year and if everything falls in place, we might have two more releases by these actors in 2020.
