Daggubati Venkatesh is currently high on the success of his last film, F2. The comedy caper directed by Anil Ravipudi has become the highest grosser in the career of Venky. Currently, the actor is gearing up for the release of his next film Venky Mama. Directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby), the film features Naga Chaitanya as another lead. It is all set to hit the theatres on December 13.
Speaking in a recent interview, Venky said that he had a blast working with Chaitanya is a full-length film. He said Chay grew up like his son since childhood and it feels surreal to act with him now. Usually, Chay calls Venkatesh as Venky Mama. That helped the duo to maintain the real-life chemistry in the film as well.
Venky also showered praises on Chaitanya's personality traits. He said that both he and Chay are calm persons, who talk only when needed. Venky termed Chay as a very disciplined actor who is a joy to work with.
Venkatesh said that Venky Mama is one of the toughest films to shoot. The actor had to climb the glaciers in Kashmir, to shoot some of the sequences of the film. He hoped that audiences will love the comedy and emotional quotients of the film when it hits the theatres on the 13th.
