Darbar trailer out: Superstar Rajinikanth is on fire

There is a lot of hype surrounding Rajinikanth's upcoming film Darbar because it marks the first collaboration of Superstar with director AR Murugadoss. The film is being produced on a massive scale by Lyca Productions, who had bankrolled director Shankar's 2.0. Darbar features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, and Yogi Babu.

The one-minute-long trailer of Darbar has Rajinikanth in high energy. He says that he is a bad cop and proves it with his actions. He hashes up the goons and thrashes them. Rajinikanth also appears in a suave look in the trailer, which could be his second role in the film. Darbar's trailer reiterates AR Murugadoss' words as the film is a perfect commercial entertainer with all elements necessary for a Rajinikanth film. There are certain moments where Rajinikanth is romancing Nayanthara. Rajinikanth looks extremely energetic in the film and it is great to look at Superstar doing what he does best. Darbar, which has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, will release for Pongal 2020. Going by the rumours, the film will release on January 10.
