Darlings Will Be Filmed In Tamil And Telugu By Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment

Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt, was among the most watched Netflix originals last week and has received positive reviews from both critics and viewers. Jasmeet K Reen is the film's director, and it is made by Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Shefali Shah and Vijay Verma will also appear in the Tamil and Telugu versions of Darlings, which will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Red Chillies Entertainment's producer and chief operating officer, Gaurav Verma, confirmed the news, adding, “We had the script of Darlings with us for a while now and through the journey of making it, we decided to make it in multiple languages. The film has a certain landscape that can be adapted very well in multiple languages. The process is on as we speak. The plot remains the same, but we will localize it". Although Darlings was a narrative set in Mumbai, Tamil and Telugu will now have their own world. The characters' actions and reactions are localized. Red Chillies Entertainment's debut as a stand-alone label in the Tamil and Telugu markets will be marked with Darlings. Do they intend to continue along that road in the future? "If given the chance, it has always been a route we wish to follow. There will be several language versions of Jawan. Since we have been involved with the script for the past four years, we want to see it develop properly.
