Challenging Star Darshan’s photo exhibition, ‘Life On The Wild Side’, has been launched on Friday at a hotel in Mysuru. Nearly 75 photographs captured by the actor at the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary, Male Mahdeswhara Hills and in the forests of Kerala were on display. The money raised from the sale of photographs will be donated to the conservation of forest. Talking about the experience as a photographer, Darshan said, “The biggest thing I learned from the day I began shooting wild animals is patience. One of my favorite pictures is that of a bird, for which I had to wait for nearly eight hours. Some animals are used for vehicular movement, so it was easy to capture them, but I had to wait for hours to click pictures of animals that are shy in nature. But it was a stress buster to take time off from shooting films to concentrate on wildlife.”
