Debutant Ragini Chandran says the script of LAW is what got her to do the film!

Ragini Chandran is making her film debut with the upcoming film LAW. The film will have an OTT release on Amazon Prime on July 17th! The crime thriller follows the tale of Nandini who is fighting for justice against a gruesome crime. The film intends to raise a voice against the injustice and crime committed against women.

Talking about why she chose LAW to be her debut film, Ragini says, “It’s definitely the script because doing movies is not something I had planned, it was definitely not in the pipeline. But the script is what got me interested, especially when the director, Raghu Samarth, narrated the script.” Ragini also spoke of how she found the character’s background and the story very compelling and impactful. “I didn’t see myself doing a romantic film as my debut, so I thought this movie is a great first choice,” says the debutant.

Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and M Govinda are bankrolling the film under the PRK Productions banner. Raghu Samarth is directing the legal drama. Apart from Ragini, the film also stars Mukhyamantri Chandru, Achyuth Kumar, and Sudharani among others.

Ragini Chandran has previously appeared in a short film titled Rishibhapriya. She will next appear in the film Inspector Vikram in a cameo role. Her husband, Prajwal Devraj happens to be the main lead of the film. Directed by Narasimha and produced by Vikyath VR, the film also stars Bhavana and Raghu Mukherjee.
