Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Gully Boy stole the spotlight at the 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards last night. It took home the maximum number of trophies. While Ranveer Singh won Best Actor, Alia Bhatt took home the award for her performance in Gully Boy. Gully Boy was also honored with Best Film and Best Screenplay awards.
Ranveer couldn't contain his excitement after winning the award. He tuned in to a video call with the director Zoya Akhtar to share his happiness. He also took to Instagram to share a screenshot of their joyous faces. "Look at that face !!! @zoieakhtar#gullyboy", Ranveer captioned the pic.

Deepika Padukone took to the post to drop in a comment. The comment read, "HISTORIC...Love you both". The couple recently returned from their Valentine’s Vacation. From pictures shared by Deepika, it seems they had a beachside holiday.
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will feature in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film The Intern. Ranveer Singh's upcoming films include '83, Takht and Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Deepika will also feature in ‘83 as Romi Dev.
Meanwhile, the Filmfare awards show hosted by Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, and Varun Dhawan. Ranveer Singh took over the stage to showcase his rapping skills.
