It was previously announced that Deepika would be unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy. She posted an image of the book Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. The trophy will be presented at the Lusail Stadium in a specially built Louis Vuitton trunk. Deepika also posted a video in which she can be seen making her way to the stadium for the big announcement.
Recently, Deepika took a flight to Qatar, and Ranveer Singh was seen dropping her off at the airport. Deepika was spotted posing for the cameras as she was walking into the airport. A photographer encouraged her to take a selfie with football star Messi. "Ma’am Messi ke saath ek photo leke daal do, hum bohot bade fan hai", the paparazzi said. Deepika responded, "batati hu," and flashed her million-dollar smile.
The actress will make a significant cameo in Ranveer's upcoming movie Cirkus. Deepika will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in the movie Pathaan. The movie is scheduled for release on January 25, 2023. She also has the remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Project K with Prabhas, and Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. Deepika will be a part of Rohit's cop universe as she will appear in Singham 3 alongside Ajay Devgn. Rohit recently made this announcement.
