Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan recently appeared on Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show.
Deepika opened up about her battle with depression in the episode. Deepika replied to Amitabh when Amitabh asked how she knew she was depressed. Deepika said she used to feel like she did not want to go to work or meet new people. She added that she felt as empty on the inside. Deepika says she felt like did not want to live any longer since she did not feel like she had a purpose in life.
Deepika went on to say that during that time, she would start crying out of nowhere. Deepika added that it was her mother, Ujjala Padukone, who suggested she get professional help.
Farah was teary-eyed, and Amitabh Bachchan was moved by her battle with despair. The actor was also applauded by the megastar for sharing such a personal event with the public.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will reunite after their triumph in ‘Piku.' The actors will appear in ‘The Intern,' a Hindi remake of the same-named Hollywood film. Rishi Kapoor had before been cast in the role. Amitabh was brought on board to stand in for him after his untimely death.
Apart from that, Deepika and Big B will also star alongside Prabhas in Nag Ashwin's new film.
