Last night,
Deepika Padukone turned her house into a restaurant for husband
Ranveer Singh. The Piku actress put on her chef's hat to make a salad, soup, Thai green curry, and a cake for Ranveer.
The Gully Boy actor took to Instagram to share pictures of the hearty meal. In one of the pictures, he wrote, "Pati parmeshwar ke liye apne haathon se khana banane wali cute meri Deepu. Love you babez(sic)."
In one of the clips, Deepika is seen sporting a cap, apron and baking gloves. The caption reads "Master Chef Deepika". The Chhapaak actress cooked Thai cuisine that included chopped Thai salad with sesame garlic dressing, Thai green curry, vegetable Tom Yum soup and rice. There was a "yummilicious" cake for dessert which she garnished with a scoop of ice cream, nuts, and Nutella.
He shared a picture of him having the dessert and wrote, "Deepu babez U r my one true love.(sic)."While in quarantine, Deepika is trying to stay productive. Earlier, she was seen rearranging her kitchen. She wrote, "Season 1:Episode 6 You know...In case it wasn’t clear enough.. #wannabemariekondo Productivity in the time of COVID-19!"
Deepika often mentions Japanese organizing consultant and author Marie Kondo in her posts. Marie insists on gathering all your belongings, categorizing them and keeping only those things that "spark joy". Her book, The Life-Changing Magic Of Tidying Up, has been published in 30 countries.
It seems she was not just labeling food items. The Bajirao Mastani actress also made a label that read “husband” which she pasted on Ranveer’s forehead.
Apart from learning new organizing skills, Deepika is following her fitness routine. From cooking to spending quality time with each other, Deepika and Ranveer are staying safe and staying indoors during the lockdown.
