Devi Sri Prasad And Disha Patani Join Suriyas Film With Siruthai Siva

Suriya is about to begin work on a new film with filmmaker Siruthai Siva, which will be done on a large budget. The film's production will start shortly after a muhurat puja. According to the most recent reports, Disha Patani and Devi Sri Prasad have been roped into the project. Previously, it was speculated that Anirudh Ravichander or Ravi Basur might compose the soundtrack for 'Suriya 42.' However, the producers have opted to go with Devi Sri Prasad for the film's soundtrack.

The official news regarding Devi Sri Prasad and Disha Patani joining the crew is anticipated during the film puja. If Devi Sri Prasad joins, he will be working with Suriya for the sixth time, following the films 'Mayavi,' 'Aaru,' 'Singam,' and 'Singam 2'. In addition, the film would mark the return of Devi Sri Prasad and Siruthai Siva following the 2014 superhit 'Veeram,' which starred Ajith. On the other hand, Disha Patani's casting as the female protagonist came as a surprise since Pooja Hegde was slated to play the lead in 'Suriya 42.' However, it's worth noting that the two previously worked together in a commercial in 2015. Suriya will be wearing a fresh new look for the film, and the cast and crew will relocate to Goa for a month of filming. Suriya also appears in the films 'Vanangan' and 'Vaadivaasal,' directed by Bala and Vetri Maaran, respectively. The final schedule of filming for 'Vanangan' has yet to commence, while 'Vaadivaasal' is at the pre-production stage.
