Dhanush was shooting for his upcoming film, The Gray Man, which will premiere on Netflix in April 2020. He stayed there for four months and returned to Hyderabad for the shooting of director Karthick Naren's Maaran. After wrapping up a month-long schedule in Hyderabad, Dhanush came to Chennai to commence the shooting of his upcoming film, Thiruchitrambalam. The commercial entertainer is directed by Mithran Jawahar. The film went on floors in August with Nithya Menen and Prakash Raj. in Chennai. Now, if reports are anything to be believed, Dhanush has wrapped up the shooting of Thiruchitrambalam.
Thiruchitrambalam boasts an ensemble cast that includes Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavan Shankar, Prakash Raj, and Bharathiraja in important roles. The film marks the reunion of Mithran Jawahar and Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee Mohini. After a long break, composer Anirudh Ravichandran and Dhanush are reuniting for this film. For the next couple of months, Dhanush will be shooting for multiple projects in Tamil. Reportedly, he will begin shooting for Selvaraghavan's Naane Varuven later this month. The film will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations. Soon, an official announcement regarding the same will be out.
