'Jalebi' beauty Digangana Suryavanshi marked her Telugu debut with 'Hippi' movie starring Kartikeya. The film failed to score big at the box office, but the heroine has caught the attention of everyone.
As per the latest reports, the actress has signed yet another Telugu project. We already know that Gopichand, who has been struggling with back-to-back disasters, joined hands with Sampath Nandi for his next.
According to the buzz, Sampath Nandi was impressed with Digangana's performance in 'Hippi' and roped her in for this project. Touted to be a sports drama, Gopichand is going to play the role of a hockey coach in the flick and Digangana is going to turn into a TV journalist for the film.
Initially, the makers wanted to take only Tamannaah as the heroine for the movie but now, they have added a character for the heroine and she came on board eventually to play the second female lead of the film. This is a very good opportunity for the heroine now.
The shooting of the film is currently taking place at Moinabad. Rumors are rife that director Sampath Nandi is still writing the script on the sets even while shooting is going on.
