After a long hiatus, director Vinayan is making a comeback with the film Pathonpathaam Noottandu. The much awaited film is receiving great support. Now Vinayan's words about the problems with actor Dileep are gaining attention. Vinayan says that Dileep's words are the main reason for the bans on him. Dileep's problem comes when he is the head of the MACTA organization.
"Dileep withdrew from the film directed by Tulasi Das. The withdrawal was made after receiving a Rs 40 lakh advance from the producer. As the head of the organization, he intervenes because of what Madhu and Hariharan called him. A meeting of the Macta Federation was called on the issue. It was clear that justice was not on Dileep's side but on Tulsi's side.
He said that it should be settled within three months. Everyone said that they should call Tulasi Das and tell them that they will give the date of the next film. There were many people to stay with Dileep that day. Even thought that Dileep also felt the human instinct. Before that, it was all about Dileep. In the early days, I also made his own efforts to bring Dileep;” said Vinayan
Vinayn added that Dileep did not wanted him to be in the film field again. “Manju Warrier and Manoj K Jayan were the central characters in Sallapam. After that, he became a solo hero with the movie Kalyana Saugandhikam. Dileep felt that the person who came to teach him the rules was not wanted in Malayalam cinema at a time when we were making films like Ullasapoongattu, Anuragakotaram, and Pranaya Nilav after Kalyana Saugandhikam,” Vinayan added.
