Diljit Dosanjh Enters The Crew; Co-Star Kareena Kapoor Hails It Uffff Best News

The Crew's newest cast member, Diljit Dosanjh, was revealed on Tuesday. It has been described as a comedy of errors and blunders set in the struggling aviation industry. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Rajesh Krishnan directs The Crew. It is produced by Rhea and Ekta Kapoor.

Producer Rhea said in a statement that the cast is overjoyed to have Diljit on board. “We are thrilled to have Diljit join the cast considering his discerning eye for quality projects. Diljit and Kareena previously collaborated on the films Udta Punjab (2016) and Good Newswz (2019). They collaborated in the 2016 drama as a pair. The 2019 movie was about in vitro conception with Kiara Advani and Akshay Kumar. According to the movie's official description, it is about three ladies who hustle and work to progress in life. But when they attempt to go forward, fate places them in some unfortunate and unplanned situations, trapping them in a trap of lies. Previously, Rhea and Ekta worked together on Veere Di Wedding. It was a 2018 buddy comedy. The movie starred Kareena, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania in the key roles. By the end of March, shooting of The Crew will begin. It is a joint production of Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions. Diljit's most recent appearance was in the Netflix miniseries Jogi. It is inspired by the anti-Sikh riots of 1984. He also co-stars alongside Parineeti Chopra in Imtiaz Ali's upcoming biopic Chamkila. The movie is based on Punjabi vocalists Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila.
