Directed Seenu Ramasamy Reveals That He Is Not Directing Dharmadurai

Director Seenu Ramasamy is a National Award-winning filmmaker who is known for helping realistic rural entertainers. Among the films that he has directed is Dharmadurai which starred Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles. The film received a lot of appreciation from critics and the audience alike. Now, reports are doing the rounds that there will be a sequel to Dharma Durai. Producer RK Suresh confirmed that Dharma Durai 2 will be announced soon. This confirmation left Vijay Sethupathi's fans confused. Also, reports were doing the rounds whether Vijay Sethupathi and Tamannaah will be part of it.

Recently, director Seenu Ramasamy took to social media to announced that he will not be directing Dharmadurai 2. He wrote, "Hearing reports that Dharma Durai 2 is all set to begin, congrats to the team but it's not true that I'm directing the sequel. I'm not involved in any way with the film. An official announcement on my new film will be out very soon (Sic)." Seenu Ramasamy recently wrapped up the shooting of GV Prakash-starrer Idimuzhakkam. His long-pending Maamanithan with Vijay Sethupathi is likely to release soon. It is said that the director and Vijay Sethupathi will join hands for another film.
