The team of Sai Dharam Tej's Republic has completed shooting and are now looking forward to its release on June 4th! Director Deva Katta took to his social media to announce the news with a photo of the cast and crew. During COVID times, film shooting is a risky affair. Deva Katta says that the team has managed to stay safe and complete shooting without even one COIVD case.
Sai Dharam Tej re-tweeted the post and spoke about how happy he is. He thanked the whole team of Republic. Tej also said that the Republic is going to be a special film for him!
"It’s a wrap for #REPUBLIC shoot: 64 days in total, fortunately with zero COVID cases!! All made possible by this Army!! Thank you! #RepublicOnJune4th," wrote Director Deva Katta.
Sai Dharam Tej re-tweeted the photo and wrote, “ Four months of hustle and focus and we have finished shoot...the effort and hard work of all the people behind the camera and in front of the camera have made this possible...kudos to the whole team of #REPUBLIC this one is going to be a special movie in my career”.
Talking about the film, Republic will focus on the three pillars of democracy - legislative, executive and judiciary. In an interview with a popular daily, Sai Dharam Tej had revealed that he will be playing the role of an IAS officer.
Apart from Sai Dharam Tej, the film will star Aishwarya Rajesh as the leading lady. Actors Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna will also appear in crucial roles. Manisharma is the film's music director. Republic is being bankrolled by Sri Balaji Cine Media. The film will hit the theatres on 4th June.
On the work front, Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in the film Solo Brathuke So Better. He is also looking forward to appearing in a film directed by Karthik Dandu. Written by Sukumar, SD15 is a mystical thriller flick.
