Director Pragabhal's Muddy Becomes India's First Film Based On Mud Ace

Of late, directors have been making bold attempts in the Tamil film industry by making films on offbeat topics. One such film that was released in theatres today, December 10, is Muddy. The film is India's first-ever Mud race film. Muddy was released in theatres on December 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. The film is directed by Dr. Pragabhal. At the pre-release event, Director Dr. Pragabhal said, "The journey with Muddy was something challenging. It took 5 years for us to complete the movie. Initially, I had to train the lead actors for nearly 2 years as they had to look more realistic. Moreover, I wanted to shoot the action sequences without any dupes. I was so particular about the attitude of the actors and henceforth, I had to spend more time planning. The technical team exerted fabulous support to the film. I request the press and audiences to support the film and make it a good success."

Director Perarasu said, "I am still in awe after watching the trailer of Muddy. I still remember the experience of watching the trailer of masterpieces like Sholay and Oomai Vizhigal. And now, it's Muddy. I can't imagine the hardships and challenges of the actors and technicians of this film. On the other hand, the making of this film left me awestruck. The film will be a massive hit in all the languages. I am spellbound over the overpowering musical score of Ravi Basrur. I am confident that the film is going to be a tremendous hit."
