"I cater my movies to a specific audience and focus on situational comedies. There is a child in every man's mind. I got my inspiration from the cartoon, Tom & Jerry. The most difficult and important part of any film is writing the screenplay. There is a way of storytelling and that's what cinema is all about" the director Priyadarshan shared at the 'Master of Multiple Genres' masterclass at the International Film Festival of India for the 50th edition.
"I started my career from All India Radio. Normally talking about film festivals, there will be many doubts. I believe that film festivals definitely act as schools for aspiring filmmakers. I am really excited to see the number of films growing. It should happen and at the same time, the infrastructure also should grow." says the director.
