Last week, veteran director Bharathirajaa was brought to a hospital after becoming unwell. After being transferred to a different hospital for better care, the filmmaker released a press release notifying everyone that he was recuperating and thanking everyone for their concern. "I hope to get well soon and see you all in person," he said in his message.
Susienthiran, collaborating with Bharathirajaa on his forthcoming film Valli Mayil, has now provided an update on the ace filmmaker's health. Susienthiran has also written about the film's status in a letter he uploaded on his social media profile.
The Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu creator revealed today that they had begun the second filming schedule, "I am pleased to inform you that the second schedule of our film Valli Mayil has begun today. We aim to shoot in Madurai, Dindigul, and Tenkasi for the following 32 days before closing up our film's production."
He also mentioned that he met Bharathirajaa, who plays a key part in his film, at the hospital. "I met and chatted with Bharathrajaa appa at the hospital yesterday. He said he'll be at our shoot before the end of the month. I can't wait to work with Bharathirajaa appa again," the director penned.
Valli Mayil stars Vijay Antony and Tollywood actress Faria Abdullah in the prominent roles, with Sathyaraj, Bharathirajaa, Manisha Yadav, Thambi Ramaiah, Sunil, Redin Kingsley, and Aranthangi Nisha appearing in supporting parts.
