Nandamuri Balakrishna's comments about not getting an invitation for the film industry related meetings went viral. Not many openly discussed it but director Teja revealed his stand on the same. In a recent interview, director Teja opened up that Balakrishna should have been invited for the meetings. Teja was the initial choice to direct the biopic on the life of Sr NTR but he walked away. Later, Krish came on board and did the film.
According to director Teja, the meeting that took place between the government and film industry people is not a personal meeting. Teja feels that Balakrishna should also get an invitation for the meetings. Teja openly commented that the film industry existed even after the death of legendary actors like NTR and SV Ranga Rao. Teja pointed out that the film industry will continue to exist with or without any biggies.
Teja is very clear with his opinion and he also told that one should ask those who attended the meeting for not sending invitation to Balakrishna.
On the work front, director Teja is busy with two films right now. One of them is with Gopichand. Another film is with Rana Daggubati. Both the films will begin soon.
