Popular Tamil director Thamira was admitted to a private hospital after he contracted the novel coronavirus. However, his condition deteriorated and passed away today (April 27) morning. Thamira made his directorial debut with Rettaisuzhi, which was produced by Shankar. He then directed a film called Aan Devathai which featured Samuthirakani and Ramya Pandian in lead roles. Ramya was devastated to know Thamira passed away and penned a heartfelt note.
