Speaking about the film, MK Stalin posted, “The film addressed the land rights issue that arises because of caste discrimination and the violence that follows. Vetri Maaran has won with his story, plot, and dialogues while Dhanush has literally lived his role. My wishes to both. (sic)”
Dhanush thanked Stalin for watching the film and wrote, “I thank you for setting aside your time to watch Asuran and appreciating us. This makes us extremely happy.” Asuran also stars Manju Warrier, Prakash Raj, Pasupathy, Ken Karunaa, and Teejay.
