Dr Rajasekhar suffers sun stroke on Kalki sets
Tollywood's Angry Star Dr Rajasekhar fell ill due to sunstroke and is currently undergoing treatment at his residence in Hyderabad. Although his health condition was stable, he was advised bed rest by the doctors. He has become a victim of heat exhaustion and dehydration while shooting patchwork -- a rain fight sequence at RFC for his upcoming cop-drama Kalki on Friday.
"Rajasekhar, who was soaked in water was shooting for an action sequence in the scorching sun. Unable to cope with the heat wave, he felt exhausted and immediately rushed to a hospital where the doctors gave treatment for dehydration. He is now resting at home and is expected to be back on sets in about a week's time," says a source.
Directed by Prasanth Varma, the period action-thriller is in the last of production. Also starring Adah Sharma and Nandita Swetha, the film is expected to hit the screens in July.
