The sequel to Dream Girl, the sleeper blockbuster of 2019, will star Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the movie is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Sources claim that the creators have reunited the original dream girl group for the sequel. "The Dream Girl sequel will also feature Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Manjot Singh, who each had significant roles in the first film. Similar to the first part, their characters will be plenty of humour and encourage laughter through the story, according to a source familiar with the project.
The team behind Dream Girl 2 has been working hard to make sure the script lives up to the legacy of the previous part for quite some time. Dream Girl is Ayushmann's highest-grossing picture to date and a really adored movie. The staff has done an excellent job on the script and is fully aware of their obligations. The insider continued saying that it's a new story and that all plot details are being kept under wraps. It is now being shot and isn't actually a sequel that's made for it.
The shoot is currently progressing quickly in a studio in Mumbai. "The crew is now shooting a rigorous schedule in Mumbai. Parts of Mathura and Agra have been replicated in the studio. The setup is large and vibrant", the source continued. The sequel to Dream Girl will be released on theaters some time in the later half of 2023.
The other movies starring Ayushmann Khurrana, in addition to Dream Girl 2, are Doctor G and An Action Hero. Kho Gaye Hum Kaha, on the other hand, is being released by Ananya Panda
