Dulquer Salmaan Shares On Acting In Guns & Gulaabs: I Don’t Have This Pressure Of Box Office Here, It Is So Liberating

Dulquer Salmaan's much-anticipated movie Chup: Revenge of the Artist will now be released on September 23, Friday. A standout in his stellar resume is the upcoming Netflix series Guns & Gulaabs, which was created by Raj and DK.

Dulquer Salmaan recently talked up in an interview about landing such a significant role in Guns & Gulaabs. It's interesting that the actor confessed he is portraying a character who is not his age. With the Netflix project, Dulquer continued, he is stepping beyond his comfort zone. Being in such a movie, where he can just be himself without any pressures, seems tremendously liberating to the charming actor. “I don’t have this pressure of box office and opening day here, like in Malayalam. Here I can come and play anything, I’m just an actor here. It is wonderful, it is so liberating” Dulquer Salman said. He also said that Guns & Gulaabs is a fun show set in a different era. Dulquer added that Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav are just two of his co-stars who are all excellent actors. “It is set in this imaginary town, and all these characters – what brings us together - I think it will be a fun ride”, Dulquer added. The actor thinks that Raj and DK, his directors, have great analytical minds. Dulquer Salmaan claims that the reason Raj and DK's works appeal to him so much is that they are backed up by a lot of intellect and logic. The actor also stated that despite the difficulties, he absolutely enjoyed shooting Guns & Gulaabs in a lengthy format.
