Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy stole the hearts of everyone with their arresting performances in the Malayalam film Charlie. Years later, the film is now being adapted in Tamil as Maara. Directed by Dhilip Kumar, Maara stars Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The film, which was wrapped up before the novel coronavirus lockdown, skipped theatrical release. The film will stream on Amazon Prime Video on January 8. Ahead of the film's release, a promo released with Dulquer Salmaan's voice over where he can be seen reciting poetry.
Madhavan thanked Dulquer for the poetry and wrote, "Adventure adds meaning to life, the quest to find happiness adds love to life. It's YOU who nurtures this journey..just like Maara who finds life in the smallest thing. Thank @dulQuer for this wonderful poetry (sic)." Replying to Madhavan, Dulquer wrote, "It gives me immense pleasure to have been a small part of #Maara. Loved reciting this beautiful poem. A huge shoutout to Maddy-na, Dhilip Kumar, Shraddha & the whole of team Maara from me and team Charlie (sic)." Maara is the latest release on the OTT platform.
