Malayalam star actor Dulquer Salmaan is currently busy with the post-production works of his upcoming film Kurup. This movie is the biopic of one of Kerala's most-wanted criminals, Sukumara Kurup. Srinath Rajendran is directing this project. We hear that Dulquer has recently signed a film with director Rosshan Andrrews. Apparently, the actor will play the role of a cop in this movie.
According to the sources, Rosshan's long time associates Bobby and Sanjay have written the script of this film. The shoot will start rolling from May. Rosshan is best known for his films like Udayananu Tharam, Notebook, Evidam Swargamanu, Casanova, How Old Are You? and School Bus. The rest of the details of this film will get announced very soon.
Meanwhile, Dulquer is in a red-hot form by scoring two back to back hits this year. He first scored the success with Varane Avashyamund, which released in February. It is also Dulquer's maiden project as a producer. Kalyani Priyadarshan, Shobana and Suresh Gopi have played the other important roles in the movie.
On the flip side, he scored another super-hit with Tamil film Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal which released on February 28. Its Telugu version, Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante, is also having a great run at the box office.
Dulquer Salmaan recently made his debut as a producer in the film industry. With Varane Avashyamund, Dulquer Salmaan played the lead role as well as a producer. The actor wants to come up with more interesting films under his production in the coming days.
