Ek Mini Katha to have direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video

Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar’s Ek Mini Katha, produced by UV Creations and directed by Karthik Rapolu, was slated for release on April 30th. But due to the current health scenario, people were not stepping into the theatres and so, the makers of the film postponed the release and have announced that the new date will be announced later.

Well, now, as per the latest update, the makers of the film are releasing the film on an OTT platform. A deal with Amazon Prime Video is said to have worked and the film will stream soon on the platform. An official announcement from the makers is awaited. Director Merlapaka Gandhi has written the script that deals with an adult subject - does size matter? The film has Shraddha Das also in the lead roles and is yet to get the much-needed hype the film needs to catch the attention of the audiences. Santosh Shoban’s last film was Paper Boy and a disaster at the box office. So Santosh has expectations on this film and he hopes he gets a break with this film. It was Prabhas who referred Santosh to the team of UV Creations. Late director Shoban directed Varsham which was a huge hit in the career of Prabhas.
