The couple announced the news of their engagement only yesterday with a series of pictures on their social media handles. Dave McCarry simply posted a picture of himself with Emma where she poses with her hand towards the camera. We can see Emma with a beautiful new diamond engagement ring on her finger.
Stone and McCarry are both celebrated actors and directors in their own fields. The couple reportedly met at the set of Saturday Night Live. Stone was then a part of a short sketch called Wells for Boys directed by McCarry. Stone is best known for her recent Oscar-winning film, La La Land.
Previously Emma Stone was dating Andrew Garfield for over four years. The two separated in 2015 but have stayed as supporting loving exes.
