The Fahadh Faasil starrer Malayankunju, directed by newcomer Sajimon, continues to run successfully in theatres. Deepu Navaikulam, who is famous for his comedy programs, was the actor who played a major role in the film. Deepu played the role of Suni in the film. Deepu's performance in Malayankunju also got a lot of attention. Deepu is now sharing his experiences while acting in the film.

 
Deepu says that he was really in a dream world and, as a beginner, Fahadh Faasil and other team members supported him a lot.
 
"Fahadh was a big deal for me when he first came on the set. Saji Sir introduced me to Fahadh Ikka. Fahadh had told me not to be afraid and to do it without tension. Everyone gave great support, and there was a dog named Chemban in the film. Even though it was a trained dog, sometimes when it heard the sound of rain, the dog would run away, and I heard a lot from the director for not holding the dog properly," says Deepu.
 
Many of Deepu's comedy skits have gone viral on social media. The freaky young man's skit, played by Deepu in Asianet Comedy Stars, is a constant presence among trolls on social media.
 
Meanwhile, Malayankunju is directed by debutant Saji Mon and scripted by Mahesh Narayanan. Malayankunju is also a Malayalam film, composed by A.R. Rahman after 30 years.
