Fans Left In Shock After RRR Fails To Make The Cut In India’s Oscar Nominations.

With its cinematic genius, a message that deserved to be told, and outstanding performances, several in the crowd thought 'RRR' should have been India's official entry to the Oscars this year. However, the panel chose a Gujarati film named 'Chhello Show,' directed by Pan Nalin, as this year's submission to the 95th Academy Awards last week, rather than the SS Rajamouli-directed picture.

While this sparked a fresh round of social media controversy, the jury members' justification for not picking 'RRR' only added fuel to the fire. When the film was premiered, everyone from celebrities to moviegoers to reviewers praised it. The film starred Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and Chatrapathi Sekhar and was released in March of this year. Netizens have reacted to the rejection by the Jury members.

After the film's release, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, who portrayed the principal roles, received praise. In a fictitious scenario, the film follows two Indian rebels, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. 'RRR' is a period action drama written by K Vijayendra Prasad and directed by SS Rajamouli, who rose to national prominence with the Baahubali franchise. The film is continuing on a roll, receiving rave reviews from all around the world. It drew millions of viewers worldwide and grossed over Rs 1100 crores at the box office.
