Farah Khan approaches Shah Rukh Khan for the remake of Satte Pe Satta

The news of Satte Pe Satta remake has been in the news for quite some time and the fans are eagerly waiting for some concrete news on the remake.

It was earlier known that Farah Khan had approached Hrithik Roshan for the film. Hrithik Roshan considered to play the lead role and step into Big B's shoes. However, according to media sources Farah Khan may be turning to her dearest actor friend Shah Rukh Khan for the much-talked-about remake.

This comes after Hrithik Roshan rejected the first draft of the film's script. He will get the second narration in November and is likely to take a call post that. In the meantime, Farah is not sitting idle and has turned to her family friend and actor Sha Rukh Khan. Sources revealed that the 'Main Hoon Na' director is trying to woo SRK to take up the project. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, has been on a break since his last box office outing 'Zero' tanked massively. Meanwhile, sources also revealed that makers have purchased the rights of the original film titled Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and the remake is most likely titled 'Seven'. There is little to no chance of the film naming as Satta Pe Satte 2. As for the film's female lead, speculations have been rife that Anushka Sharma is being considered for the part. And if it is true, it could be SRK and Anushka's fifth film together.
