Farhan Akhtar wishes the original ‘Flying Sikh’ Milkha Singh on his birthday.

Farhan Akhtar’s role as Milkha Singh from the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is still a fresh memory. Today, on the occasion of the original Milkha’s birthday, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media handles and wished the sports champion. He shared a picture of Milkha Singh and captioned it, "Happy birthday to the ‘Flying Sikh’ .. love you Milkha-Ji. Wish you good health and happiness always."

 
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra from a script written by Prasoon Joshi. The story is based on the life of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete who was a national champion runner and an Olympian. It stars Farhan Akhtar in the titular role with Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Meesha Shafi, Pavan Malhotra and Art Malik in supporting roles.
 
On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar is currently getting ready for yet another sports drama, titled, Toofan which is also directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is slated to release on 2nd October 2020.
