The outbreak of Coronavirus in India led to a sudden halt in filmmaking and production. Many big-budget films also stopped production as it threatened the health of everyone on the set. This includes Salman Khan's upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film was slated for release on Eid 2020 before it was suddenly halted due to Coronavirus. Prabhudeva's directorial film stars Salman Khan and Disha Patani in lead roles.
However, after almost 2 months of constant delays, film and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh has some updates on the film. Adarsh tweeted out news about Radhe writing, "Radhe, starring Salman Khan and
Disha Patani: The film is not complete yet... Filming of two songs and some sequences pending...Dubbing, VFX, post-production work pending too."
Meanwhile,
Salman Khan is actively using his resources to bring funds and resources for the underprivileged in Mumbai. He has deployed trucks and vans full of relief material all across the city for those struggling due to the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown.
Radhe is the third time Salman Khan has collaborated with director Prabhudeva. Previously Prabhudeva directed Salman Khan in the moderately successful Dabbang 3. As one of the most anticipated films of the year Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in other pivotal roles. The film does not have a release date yet. Salman Khan has also revealed his Eid 2021 release. He will be starring in Kabhi Diwali Kabhi Eid for his iconic Eid release in 2021.
