Noted film critic and journalist Kathi Mahesh met with an accident earlier today and his health condition is critical now, say latest reports.
Mahesh is being treated at Medicare Hospital, Chennai and his vital parameters are being continually monitored by the medical team attending him.
The senior media personality seems to have sustained an injury to his head. An official medical report on his condition is awaited. It is being said that Mahesh suffered a fatal road accident on the highway between Kodavalur and Chandrasekharapuram and was immediately moved to Medicare Hospital, Nellore. He was later shifted to Medicare Hospital, Chennai for better treatment.
The Innova Crysta car that Mahesh was travelling in hit a moving lorry on the highway and wearing a seatbelt saved him from an even more serious injury.
A couple of years ago, Kathi Mahesh made headlines for his highly controversial and provocative comments on JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan.
