Firoz Nadiadwala’s Awara Paagal Deewana 2 Is Shaping Up With Akshay Kumar Under The Direction Of Ahmed Khan

According to reports, Akshay Kumar is working with producer Firoz Nadiadwala to bring back three of his most popular franchises: Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Paagal Deewana. According to a source close to the development, Akshay and Firoz have had several talks in the previous few months to have everything for these initiatives. There is a new update on one of these exciting films. According to reports, Akshay and Firoz are negotiating with director Ahmed Khan about directing Awara Paagal Deewana 2.

"Akshay, Ahmed, and Firoz have a lengthy history together. Ahmed had even worked as a choreographer on Awara Paagal Deewana. Therefore he is familiar with the project. The group is now brainstorming ideas for the sequel, following which they will begin writing the script. However, they are not rushing into it and are giving it their best since they want to do full honor to the original," a person close to the project said. Vikram Bhatt directed 2002 original, which starred Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Aarti Chabria, Preeti Jhangiani, and Amrita Arora, among others. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar's following projects include Tinu Suresh Desai's Capsule Gill, Amit Rai's OMG 2, Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB 3, and Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He will begin filming for the last project alongside Tiger Shroff in late January or early February next year.
