In April of this year, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani began filming for Dunki in Mumbai's Filmcity studio. Following that, they travelled for about a month to shoot for the movie's international schedule in London and Budapest. It has now come to light that SRK, Hirani, and crew are preparing for a second significant schedule that will be filmed overseas next month. They are currently wrapping up the film's Mumbai schedule.
"After the recently completed schedule in Wai, Dunki will be filmed for one or two days in Bhayandar. Before Diwali, this will be completed, and then they will travel to Saudi Arabia in the middle of November for a crucial filming period. This shoot will last 10 to 12 days. They originally intended to film in Dubai, but they have now settled on Saudi". A source close to the project says that preparation for the international programme has already started.
Along with SRK, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani are also featured in Dunki. Taapsee recently acknowledged her admiration for King Khan in a conversation. “I have a special admiration, which I don’t know how it gets even bigger than what I have for him. But also because we both hail from the same city, there is a certain affinity that I have towards him also because of that”, the actress from Shabaash Mithu said.
In April 2022, SRK posted a video of Dunki announcing on Instagram.
