Brahmaji is one of the prominent and versatile actors working in the Telugu film industry. In a career spanning over three decades, Brahmaji has portrayed several memorable characters in various films. He celebrates his 55th birthday today. On this occasion, here is a quick recap into his glorious career.

 
With an immense interest in films and a passion to become an actor, Brahmaji entered into films by playing a small role in the 1986 film Mannemlo Monagadu. He then played insignificant roles in the films like Muddula Mavayya, Shiva and Magadu. It was the 1995 film Gulabi which brought him fame in the industry. He then went on to play prominent roles in blockbuster films like Ninne Pelladutha, Sindhooram, Chandralekha, and Choodalani Vundi.
 
In the early 2000s, Brahmaji starred in various super hit films. His roles in movies like Khadgam, Vasu, Shivamani, Bhadra, and Athadu are still fresh in the memories of the Telugu audiences. His role as Bujji in Athadu remained a memorable one for the viewers. From the past few years, Brahmaji is being seen in all the major films. In this year, he acted in the super hit films Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo, Bheeshma, and Hit. He was last seen in the film O Pitta Katha. This film marked the debut of Brahmaji's son Sanjay Rao. Directed by Chendu Mudda, this film featured Vishwant and Nitya Shetty in the other lead roles.
