Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 review: Arya Stark, the Night King slayer stuns the fans

Anticipated to be the longest battle in the history of Game Of Thrones ‘Battle of Winterfell’, in this season has left the fans speechless. The striking episode has caused a social media meltdown with the post from the thrilled fans. The makers have finally revealed the secret weapon which was destined to kill the Night King.

And guess what, the all grown up Arya Stark has stolen the show with her valour. Though it was the first battle for the Stark’s bravest daughter, she conquered it with the short dagger made out of Valyrian steel slaying the Night King. The whole of the episode involves the Battle Of Winterfell as the Night King and his army of the dead attacking Winterfell. While Danaerys is all busy saving Jon Snow, the most spectacular one is the deathly blow given by Arya Stark.

The episode witnessed the death of Theon Greyjoy who made an attempt to save Bran from the Night King. From Lyanna Mormont's death to Jorah sacrificed his life for his Queen, Daenerys Targaryen, it was a difficult episode to sail through. Here comes, Arya leaping through the dark and the Night King grabbing her by the throat. She then drops the Valyrian steel dagger, catches it with her other hand and serves the final blow to the Night King.

On this note, the fans quickly took to social media to remind everyone of Melisandre's prophecy for Arya in the season three and the significance it has had in motivating and hyping her to bring an end to the blue eyes. The Night King.
