Gangubai Kathiawadi Teaser: Alia Bhatt stuns everyone in her role of a Mafia queen; WATCH

The much anticipated film of the year, Gangubai Kathiawadi Teaser dropped on the internet today. The nakers chose the day because it's the birth anniversary of the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Featuring Alia Bhatt in the lead role as Gangubai, the film's teaser starts with a suspense music score in the background and there we see Alia Bhatt in a never seen before avatar. Bold red lipstick, big red bindi, tied back hair, and an evil smile, these are some of the features of the Mafia Queen we see in Alia in the teaser.

The teaser of Gangubai Kathiawadi describes the film as, "Gangubai Kathiawadi - A story, based on the book “Mafia Queens of Mumbai” written by S. Hussain Zaidi, is a film that celebrates the rise of a simple girl from Kathiawad who had no choice but to embrace the ways of destiny and swing it in her favour." The film has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Sanjay and Jayantilal Gada. As Alia released the trailer, she wished SLB in the most special way. Alia wrote, " Happy Birthday Sir..I can think of no better way to celebrate you and your birthday. Presenting a part of my heart & soul. Meet .. Gangu! (Heart emoji)."
