The trailer for Sai Pallavi's upcoming drama Gargi has been released by the movie makers. On social media, the Shyam Singha Roy actress posted, "#Gargi... She will need your love and blessing. I'm extremely elated to share the trailer with you all!" The project, which was directed by Gautham Ramachandran, will debut on July 15 in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
In the trailer, Sai Pallavi's character's life is seen to take a 180-degree turn once her father is arrested by the police.
She tries to talk to him, but the officer in charge informs her that her father was only arrested after the police closely watched his movements. In fact, Sai Pallavi is advised by the police to leave the area before she catches the attention of the media. Later in the narrative, Gargi fights the system. After seeing the trailer, the movie appears to be a rough courtroom drama.
In Gargi, Aishwarya Lakshmi also acts in the movie, making the same her debut as a producer. Along with other actors, the movie also has important performances by Kaali Venkat, R.S. Shivaji, Kalaimaamani Saravanan, Jayaprakash, Prathap, Sudha, Livingston, and Kavithalaya Krishnan.
The Tamil version of the movie is being released by Jyotika and Suriya under the label of 2D Entertainment. While this was happening, Rakshit Shetty, who is presenting the film in Kannada through Paramvah Studios, tweeted, "A film that I'm excited about! Proud of presenting it through Paramvah. Here is a short glimpse into #Gargi's world.”
