Gauahar Khan reacts to Supreme Court's decision to refrain giving protection to the team of Tandav

The makers and the whole team of Tandav, latest show on Amazon Prime Video, is struggling to cope with controversies after a section of the religious community protesting for hurting their sentiments. The controversy aggravated so much that the whole matter went in the hands of law and court. People are slamming the whole team of the show and some have even resorted to threatening them. However, the Supreme Court of India has denied any protection to the team and it has left Gauahar Khan furious. Gauahar plays a significant role in the show as Maithili Sharan.

She took to her social media handle to express her dismay. When a user wrote, "Excellent. Next people playing murderers on screen might be tried for the same. After all, they read the script..." Gauahar Khan, who played the role of Maithili Sharan in Tandav, reacted to the tweet with three ‘face with monocle’ emojis.

The other cast of the show includes Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Kritika Kamra, Dino Morea, etc. The show has been created by Ali Abbas Zafar.
