GodFather Trailer Debut: Salman Khan Says, People Want To Go To Hollywood, I Want To Go To The South

GodFather, starring Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, is getting ready to hit theaters on October 5 in both Telugu and Hindi. The movie's Hindi trailer was presented today in Mumbai in the presence of Chiranjeevi, Salman, and a few other celebrities as the release date draws nearer. During the trailer event, Salman Khan engaged with the media and discussed his experiences working on South Indian films.

Salman Khan stated that although many people want to work in Hollywood movies, he prefers to work in South movies. He added that it will be absolutely fantastic and the films will appeal to a far larger audience when South and Bollywood stars collaborate. “People want to go to Hollywood, I want to go to the South. Once we start working together, just imagine the numbers we would have. People watching it here, people watching it in the south. Their fans watch the film, and my fans will watch the films. We talk of 300 and 400 crore, but if we work together, we might do 3000 crore,” Salman added.

Salman Khan was also questioned about Ram Charan's cameo in his movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan at the trailer launch. Salman revealed that Ram Charan visited him while he and Venkatesh were in Hyderabad filming the movie and expressed a desire to appear in the same frame as Salman and Venkatesh. Salman claimed that at first, he assumed Ram Charan was joking, but to his great surprise, the following day, Ram Charan showed up on set wearing his costume.

On October 5, GodFather will be shown in theaters. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is set for release at the end of 2022, will also star Salman Khan.
