Gopichand's Chanakya movie trailer: Looks like a decent spy thriller

Gopichand is back to the silver screens after a brief hiatus. He is playing the role of Ramakrishna in his upcoming film Chanakya. Thiru is the director and the makers released the theatrical trailer of Chanakya today.

From the first glance, Chanakya looks like a decent spy thriller which is hinged in the rivalry between India and Pakistan. Ramakrishna is a banker and also double agent Arjun. He is on a mission in Karachi. But, RAW who has employed him wants him killed. Chanakya is not a full-fledged spy thriller as there are elements of romance and comedy set the backdrop of a bank. Mehreen is the leading lady and Thiru managed to stuff a cute love story in this action thriller. Sunil’s comedy sequence reminds of the rollicking comedy in Dubai Seenu. The film produced by AP Entertainments has music composed by Vishal Chandrasekar.
